What are the must see websites in your free time?

Answer by A Quora admin:

If I had to make a list of my favourite 5 websites apart from Facebook & Quora , the list would be as follows :

  1. Duolingo : Knowing a language other than your native one and English is seriously an awesome skill to have . Moreover it may give you an edge in your career too . Now you may either spend a lot of money to hire a great tutor for each language you want to be proficient in , or you may use Duolingo . I prefer and recommend the latter . Duolingo is FREE and a great website to acquire skills in languages such as French , Spanish , Italian and many more .
  2. Codecademy : Codecademy is a must visit website if you wish to gain skills in Python , Ruby , Javascript , HTML , CSS or JQuery . Its interactive tutorials are good enough , even if you are a noob .
  3. Geeks for Geeks : How many times were you frustrated while looking out for a good collection of programming/algorithm/interview questions ? What did you expect and what did you get ? This portal has been created to provide well written, well thought and well explained solutions for selected questions .
  4. Coursera : Free courses on topics ranging from English language to Algorithms . If you want , you can even get verified certificates for undertaking a course from top universities around the globe , and that too at very little cost . You pay only if you want to be certified , otherwise it is completely FREE .
  5. Project Gutenberg : Project Gutenberg is like a library with tons of free books that you can keep for the rest of your life . And the best part it that it is COMPLETELY LEGAL .
